About the Play

Macbeth is a tragic tale of ambition and power. After receiving a prophecy from three witches, Macbeth, a Scottish general, is driven to murder King Duncan and seize the throne. Consumed by guilt and paranoia, he descends into tyranny, committing further atrocities to secure his rule. As his world unravels, Macbeth faces rebellion and ultimately meets his doom, a victim of his own unchecked ambition. Shakespeare’s timeless play explores themes of fate, moral corruption, and the destructive nature of power.
